Mark R. Bateman is a partner at Young Wooldridge, LLP. Mark is a member of the firm’s Water Department and previously managed its Business Department. Mark’s practice encompasses all aspects of real estate and public agency law, with an emphasis on representing agribusinesses, real estate owners/developers, municipalities, water districts, local agencies, and other public entities, both in the transactional & litigation setting.

Mark assists clients with matters involving real property development and management, construction, asset acquisition and disposition, leasing, entity formation and governance, structuring business relationships, contractual matters, title issues, mineral and water rights, environmental issues, financing and other complex issues.

Prior to moving his family back to Bakersfield in 2004, Mark spent more than a decade with the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster.
